March 13, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider NaviSite (navisite.com) announced on Thursday it is offering a new integrated solution for Microsoft (microsoft.com) Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Exchange Windows Server 2007 and Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services. Using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, NaviSite’s integrated solution addresses the growing need for efficient interoperability, especially among mid-market enterprises.
With this increasing need, Microsoft addresses interoperability holistically in order to better connect people, data and diverse systems. Guided by four principles, the software developer strives to deliver effective products, building a community by collaborating with customers, partners and competitors, providing access to its technologies through licensing and translation tools and engaging in standards-setting activities.
“Companies need integrated solutions to be aligned with the way their businesses operate, yet achieving a seamless result can be very complex,” says Mark Clayman, senior VP of hosting services at NaviSite. “Microsoft has clearly demonstrated its understanding and commitment to this initiative, and based on many years of deep experience on Microsoft solutions, NaviSite is pleased to offer this unique solution to help companies leverage these capabilities to the fullest extent.”
NaviSite uses the integration capabilities built into Microsoft applications to provide an integrated solution, enabling companies to seamlessly collaborate with one another in their business work. Customers can either purchase the complete integrated service or choose select aspects of it for a predetermined monthly fee based upon the number of users.
In January, Web hosting provider Arizona Web Services renewed its contract for hosting services with NaviSite.
