October 3, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Domain marketplace NameMedia (namemedia.com) announced on Friday it has signed a strategic domain marketing agreement with the newly launched domain marketplace PremierDomains (premierdomains.com).
Under the terms of the agreement, NameMedia’s AfternicDLS global domain sales platform will be the exclusive provider of aftermarket domain names to PremierDomains, providing PremierDomains customers with full access to more than 800,000 domain names.
PremierDomains joins an expanding list of sites now offering NameMedia premium domains to their customers. PremierDomains’ customers may use a brokerage service or purchase at once using the company’s interface.
In June, NameMedia’s Afternic marketplace partnered with Internet services provider Tucows to exclusive expiry auction partner, enabling Tucows to offer thousands of daily expired domains for auction on Afternic that the public can bid on and purchase.

Using the interface, PremierDomains enables members to customize their listings with titles or catchy slogans.
The company provides individuals looking to list, sell, and buy premier domain names with access to a database of premier domains and member-owned domain name listings along with third party domain names through marketing partners.
PremierDomains is a subsidiary of Connecticut website design and Internet marketing firms WebSolutions (websolutions.com), which offers a full range of creative services, technical and marketing services.
NameMedia operates a targeted online media business and an online marketplace for premium domain names. The company says it is focused on acquiring, developing and selling digital real estate.
