December 3, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Verio Europe (verio.co.uk) announced on Wednesday that it has added n3sports, a provider of collaborative planning solutions for sport organizations, as a new customer.

Under the agreement, Verio Europe will host the n3sport solution out of its European data centers. The n3sport sport system provides Web-based tools for planning and scheduling activities and competitions.

“Sports organizations are finding themselves under increasing pressure from competition and market economics. As a result, they need to become more flexible and responsive to market demands,” says Kris Day, business development manager for the sport sector at Verio Europe. “Solutions, such as those provided by n3sports, are driving sport federations to reexamine their offline processes and capabilities with a view to improving their business performance to remain competitive. Together, Verio Europe and n3sport, will drive the adoption of advanced technology across European sport bodies.”

Verio Europe has added a number of sports organizations to its client list, including UEFA, the FA and Celtic Football Club.
