The first session was held last week at the MSPAlliance-hosted COMNET Conference & Expo in Washington and featured five speakers from the organization’s board.

The five members were Michael Backers, Steve Brodson, James Hare, John Street and William Yan, who discussed topics including IT outsourcing decision-making, the effect of governmental regulations on the industry and business security issues.

“This event marks a new approach of the advisory board which is to promote the organization and the industry to both service providers as well as the end-user community,” said Celia Weaver, co-founder and vice president of the MSPAlliance.
