Moniker Partners with NameMedia

September 28, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Domain asset management services provider Moniker (moniker.com) announced on Friday it has entered into a strategic partnership with NameMedia (namemedia.com) to provide premium domains for purchase at Moniker’s online domain transaction platform, MarketPlace (marketplacepro.moniker.com).

“Moniker’s partnership with NameMedia will allow our customers access to premium domains, giving them more options when acquiring a new website address,” says Monte Cahn, co-founder and CEO of Moniker. “Through this new partnership, Moniker’s MarketPlace will now be populated with an excess of three million domains available for purchase.”

Visitors to the Moniker homepage who search for a new domain to register, or those going to the MarketPlace site for domain sales, will now receive a larger selection of results, including those domains that are available for immediate purchase from NameMedia’s Domain Listing Service.

In addition to unregistered domains, users searching for new domain registrations will be offered an additional list of domains that are already owned, similar to real estate listings. This will significantly boost the number of marketable domains to choose from and will enable the buyer to buy the ideal domain.

Moniker announced earlier this week it will be holding a live domain auction at the upcoming T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East 2007 show in Hollywood, Florida. The conference will take place at the Westin Diplomat Resort from October 9 to 13.
