Modwest Upgrades Shared Hosting Packages

December 12, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Modwest (modwest.com) said today that it has upgraded the features available in all its shared hosting plans. The Montana-based company said the plans became available to new and existing customers on December 1.

According to Modwest, the new shared hosting plans include up to 100GB of data transfer and 50-250 percent more bandwidth, disk space and mailboxes.

“A number of infrastructure improvements we’ve made in 2003 have brought about new automation capabilities and business process efficiencies,” said John Masterson, vice president and co-founder of Modwest. “The resulting savings are a benefit that we’ve chosen to pass along to our customers with increased plan capacities across the board.”

Modwest recently introduced a performance status page for its customers.
