Technologies (mindspeed.com), the Internet infrastructure business of

Conexant Systems, Inc. (conexant.com), selected Sprint E|Solutions to

design, implement and manage a total hosted e-business solution that allows
r
Mindspeed to outsource its business computing IT infrastructure to Sprint.

Mindspeed, headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., also will join Sprint and
r
dignitaries from the Los Angeles area in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to
r
celebrate the opening of the Sprint E|Solutions Internet Center in Los
r
Angeles. The press is invited to attend the ceremony, which begins at 10:30
r
a.m. PST, Jan. 16, 2002, at the Internet Center site.

Sprint E|Solutions will provide Mindspeed with managed hosting, managed
r
security and managed network services, migrating Mindspeed’s “backend”
r
business infrastructure to Sprint facilities. Once the infrastructure is up
r
and running, Sprint will be responsible for the implementation and
r
management of Mindspeed’s critical applications, including ERP, EAI,
r
e-business and e-mail.
