September 7, 2004 — Web hosting and Internet services provider Miller Systems ( announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with RedDot Solutions ( to provide a hosted version of its XCMS content management solution. “This unique offering meets the needs of forward looking small and middle market companies who understand the value of leveraging an industry-standard, commercially supported content management system for their Web properties,” says Seth Miller, founder and CEO of Miller Systems. “By offering an affordable, hosted version of RedDot’s software, we can provide these companies with the functionality they need now.” Miller Systems is offering the hosted solution with a zero cost, one-day migration to a broader licensed RedDot solution. The RedDot solution hosted by Miller Systems features business process and workflow, multiple language support, simplified Web application integration, multiple publishing variants and others. The offering is available immediately in the US. “Today’s savvy customer recognizes the value of leveraging a commercially supported system over the inherent risk associated with developing or buying ‘homegrown’ content management,” says Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. “Miller Systems’ hosted RedDot offering is in line with our philosophy of offering software solutions that are cost effective and easy to use.
