Interland, Inc. (interland.com) announced today that the companies’ joint proxy statement/prospectus relating to Micron’s previously announced acquisition of Interland has been declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission, and filed electronically.

The companies announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement on

March 23, 2001.

The companies also announced that on May 11, 2001, the waiting period for
r

antitrust review of the proposed acquisition under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act
r

expired without inquiry from the Department of Justice.

The combination of Interland and Micron Electronics’ Web hosting subsidiary,
r

HostPro, will create a leading provider of business-class hosting solutions
r

to the international small and medium enterprise market, with one of the
r

broadest portfolios of managed hosting and value-added services in the
r

industry.

Shareholders will be able to attend meetings on August 6, 2001, in the
r

companies’ respective headquarters in Atlanta.
