(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Cloud storage provider Mezeo Software (www.mezeo.com) announced on Tuesday it has introduced the Mezeo Service Provider Alliance Program, which lets service providers instantly enter the cloud storage market.
The new program is offered in coordination with Mezeo’s Preferred Hosting Partners, which are tested world-class IT hosting providers, says the company.
The Mezeo Alliance Program offers service providers an accelerated time to market, providing complete support to deploy and monetize their cloud storage service, including branding support, training resources and marketing assistance.
Launched last November, the Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform is an easy to deploy, highly scalable and highly secure file sstorage and collaboration platform.
The solution is hosted by Mezeo’s Premier Hosting Provider Partners, which provides managed service providers and IT service providers with data centers, infrastructure and storage environment, letting them instantly enter the cloud storage sector with their own fully-branded cloud storage solution.
Mezeo’s Premier Hosting Provider Partners currently include iomart, NaviSite, SoftLayer and ThinkGrid.
“We want to showcase to all the resellers that are excited about cloud storage and cloud computing, but have not figured out how to get into [the market],” says Nick Futter, channel programs manager for Mezeo, at HostingCon 2009. “[The Alliance Program] makes it very easy for the solution providers. We’re also working very closely with organizations like SoftLayer because we want them to do the promotion of these services to their communities as well.”
The company will be holding a webcast on the Mezeo Service Provider Alliance Program on August 25 at 2 p.m. EST entitled “Service Providers: Accelerate profits with the Mezeo Clouds Storage Platform”.
The webcast will discuss how the FastStart Program can help service providers increase revenue with minimum investment and time.
