Media Temple Revamps Affiliate Program with Increased Commissions

Media Temple has revamped its (mt) affiliate program, increasing the commissions based on tiers for each product line.

Cloud and web hosting provider Media Temple announced on Wednesday it has revamped its (mt) affiliate program, increasing the commissions based on tiers for each product line.

Media Temple is the second cloud hosting provider that revamped its affiliate program this week, following ServInt’s announcement that it expanded its payment plan for its PowerPartner affiliate marketing program.

The free membership program now allows affiliate members to earn unlimited commissions for promoting Media Temple’s brand and services.

The newly revised product tiers allow for higher commissions. For its (gs) Grid service, affiliates will receive $80 for 1-5 sales per month, $90 for 6-15 sales, $100 for 16-25 sales, $110 for 26-plus sales.

For Media Temple’s (dv) & (ve), up to level 3, affiliates will receive $120 for 1-5 sales per month, $130 for 6-15 sales per month, $140 for 16-25 sales, $150 for 26-plus sales.

For its (dv) & (ve) level 4 and up, affiliates will receive $200 for 1-5 sales per month, $210 for 6-15 sales per month, $220 for 16-25 sales, $230 for 26-plus sales.

Media Temple also offers affiliates with tools to maximize their referrals, including a custom affiliate control panel, access to banners and text links, reporting of banner impressions, clicks, and sales, custom affiliate links, and a dedicated affiliate manager.

The affiliate program is open to both Media Temple customers and non-customers. Affiliate partners will be paid out twice a month after 60 days of the referral.

The move comes a few months after Media Temple teamed up with Morphlabs and Dell Helix to launch a new private cloud service built on OpenStack.
