(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation, metro-connectivity and managed data center services provider Net2EZ Managed Data Centers (www.net2ez.com) has leased data center space at a DuPont Fabros Technology (www.dft.com) facility in Piscataway, New Jersey.
According to DuPont Fabros’, a real estate investment firm and data center operator, in its Friday announcement, Net2EZ has access to a total of 2.275 megawatts of critical load at DuPont Fabros’ NJ1 data center.
“We have strengthened our relationship with Net2EZ as they have grown with us in three of our Northern Virginia data centers,” DuPont Fabros president and chief executive officer Hossein Fateh said in a statement. “We are delighted that they have elected to expand into the New Jersey market with us. Moreover, Net2EZ’s platform allows smaller companies to capitalize on the level of dependability and efficiency that we have made available through our best in class data centers.”
In March 2009, Net2EZ pre-leased space at the company’s ACC5 data center facility in Ashburn, Virginia, in addition to the 2.275 MW of critical load at the company’s ACC4 data center facility in Ashburn.
“DuPont Fabros Technology has the flexibility and reliability we require,” Net2EZ chief executive officer Pervez Delawalla said in a statement. “Their scalable model allows us to take additional space as our company and clients grow. We look forward to gaining access and operating in this new strategic market.”
