mail2web Re-launches Site and Services

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider SoftCom (www.softcom.com) announced on Wednesday it has relaunched its email hosting brand mail2web’s (www.mail2web.com) services and website.

The new website and services focus on mobile email and the mail2web.com community.

“We want it to be more than a just a website about our email hosting services,” says Celal Ulgen, chief marketing officer of SoftCom. “We want to embrace the mail2web.com community and bring it together. It’s a place where people can come and ask questions on forums, comment on blogs, and discuss their ideas. The new site is very community-centric now.”

The newly redesigned website and streamlined service options offer more features, including real-time push email delivery to smart phones, the ability to sync email, contacts and calendars, the ability to consolidate multiple email addresses into one mail2web Mobile Email account, synchronized email on Outlook or Entourage Desktop email clients, and browser based access to email, contacts and calendar via Outlook Web Access.

mail2web.com offers email hosting services that target smart phone owners with its Mobile Email service, which focuses on Activesync based push email, Blackberry email and iPhone email.

The company has also launched a new mail2web.com community portal, which includes a new forum, blog and ideas websites.

It recently named Mark Salerno the company’s head of technology to help scale the email and Web hosting services infrastructure and to develop technological innovations.
