January 10, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Content delivery solution provider Mirror Image Internet (mirror-image.com) announced on Monday that it has partnered with Macromedia (macromedia.com) to release the Macromedia Flash Video Streaming Service.
Mirror Image says the partnership will enable it to offer live and on-demand streaming media services to the Macromedia Flash Player. Content publishers will be able to use the service to easily deliver Flash video through Mirror Image’s Content Access Point network.
According to Mirror Image, using the Flash Player to deliver video will allow Mirror Image customers to offer users richer content and higher levels of interactivity.
