Macquarie Appoints GM of Hosting

February 6, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting services provider Macquarie Telecom (macquarietelecom.com) announced on Tuesday that company co-founder and director Aidan Tudehope has been appointed managing director of hosting.

Tudehope was previously Chief Operating Officer of Macquarie Telecom where he played an integral part in the strategy and direction of Macquarie Hosting since its state-of-art data center, the Intellicentre opened in 2001, says the company.

“Macquarie Hosting is in a unique position to meet these needs,” says Tudehope. “We have the most highly accredited data center in Australia, that is backed by the best processes, people and platforms to support fully managed, complex hosting solutions for the business and government market. This is an excellent opportunity for me to embrace the great work the team has done to date and drive the business to the next level.”

In the role of managing director of hosting, Tudehope will focus on business growth, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
