Lunarpages Sponsors HostChart Contest
May 12, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Lunarpages (lunarpages.com) announced on Thursday that it is a premium sponsor of HostChart’s (hostchart.com) Programmer’s Challenge. The event invites Web developers to showcase their skills while competing against the some of the best talents in the international Web developer community.
“This is the first of its kind competition at this level,” says event organizer Rodney Ringler, “and with $10,000 in cash and prizes it ensures this event will draw some of the best Web site designers from around the world.”
The Programmer’s Challenge starts July 1 and will run for 6 weeks. On August 21, the winner along with 10 finalists will be announced, and awarded $10,000 in cash and prizes.
The event will showcase numerous contest categories and the top Web site will be donated to a national charitable organization. Though seven of the ten sponsor slots are already filled, HostChart is still seeking a Web site design company, online marketing company and a forum board.
