July 9, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — LookSmart (looksmart.com) announced today it has singed a multi-year agreement with Terra Lycos (terralycos.com) for search distribution on Lycos, one of the largest portals in the U.S. As part of the agreement, LookSmart will provide its search product to Lycos beginning in the third quarter of 2003, while Lycos will have the option to resell LookSmart?s LookListings to Lycos?s paid inclusion and paid placement search engine marketing platform.
