(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Hosting provider Logicworks (www.logicworks.net) reported on Tuesday that it appears on a list of the 50 best places to work in New York City, published by business publication Crain’s New York Business. Logicworks is number 33 on the list, appropriately titled “Best Places to Work in New York City,” and appears to be the only hosting provider on the list of 50 companies, which can be downloaded in PDF format for free from the Crain’s New York website.

According to that PDF, the list was created from the results of a survey – conducted in partnership with Quantum Market Research – of employees at more than 300 companies in the city, who were asked to rate how valued they felt, how much they believed in their company’s leadership and whether they believed there was a potential for personal advancement. T

he Logicworks press release says is the first survey conducted to determine the most desirable places to work in New York City. “There are many outstanding companies in New York City, so being named among the best places to work speaks volumes about the team we have at Logicworks,” said Carter Burden, CEO of Logicworks, quoted in the press release. “This is a great honor for Logicworks and all of our employees. It signifies that we have great people working together to ensure that our customers are our highest priority.”

The top-50 list includes companies in a variety of industries, from bars and restaurants to advertising and PR agencies, law firms and commercial real estate groups. The only other hosting-related business appears to be Microsoft, which rated number six on the list.
