LogicBoxes Consults on Accreditation

October 12, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Software and consulting company LogicBoxes (logicboxes.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched an initiative to help companies assess the feasibility of attaining ICANN accreditation at no cost.

The company says businesses interested in obtaining ICANN accreditation first have to fill out an online feasibility form on the Logicboxes Web site, after which they will be contacted by a LogicBoxes representative with opinions about their sustainability for ICANN accreditation.

The initiative aims to reach out to new and established domain resellers, Web hosts, ISPs, data centers and other Web service companies. The software and consulting firm says an ICANN accredited registrar can take advantage of other revenue opportunities like the monetization of idle domains and the landrush registration of brand new top level domains.

“An ICANN accredited registrar enjoys tremendous brand as well as competitive advantage along with complete autonomy over its products and services. The feasibility study conducted by LogicBoxes will essentially help companies decide their preparedness as well as capacity for obtaining ICANN accreditation,” says Bhavin Turakhia, CEO of LogicBoxes. “Having consulted over 35 companies spread across 15 countries, LogicBoxes will take up a company?s ICANN accreditation application right from conducting their feasibility as a registrar up to the time they are set up to go live as an ICANN accredited registrar with minimal resources and time commitment.”
