Web hosting software provider Parallels (www.parallels.com) announced on Thursday that web hosting provider LiquidWeb (www.liquidweb.com) will offer Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0 on all of its dedicated and virtualized servers in the next couple of weeks.
By adding Parallels hosting automation control panel software to its Linux based servers, LiquidWeb says it is able to “increase per server profitability and provide its entire customer base with the most stable and secure multi-platform hosting control panel on the market.”
LiquidWeb had previously offered Parallels Plesk Panel on its Windows servers, as well used Parallels Virtuozzo containers to power its VPS services.
This latest move expands on this to include the 80 percent of its servers that are Linux based.
Using Parallels Plesk Panel, companies like LiquidWeb can make it easier to perform cumbersome tasks quickly, regardless of their operating system.
“The value and performance of Parallels Plesk Panel is unmatched in the market,” says Clinton Hansen, manager of Windows products at LiquidWeb. “By working closely with Parallels, we are able to offer the solution on 100 percent of our servers and enable our customers to focus on IT efficiency and the optimization of internal resources.”
Parallels Plesk Panel also offers complete integration with services such as the Application Packaging Standard Catalog and Parallels Plesk Billing 6.0.
The APS Catalog provides access to hundreds of pre-packaged applications, while the integration of Parallels Plesk Billing creates a full-featured hosting automation solution that removes the need for third party billing software.
