(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Real estate management and development firm Lincoln Property Company (www.lincolnproperty.com) announced on Wednesday it has acquired data center brokerage firm Rackhouse Group (www.rackhouse.com).

Rackhouse, which is also based in Dallas, focuses exclusively on mission critical real estate throughout the US, representing organizations seeking off-site data center space.

The company provides data center tenant representation, site selection and brokerage as well as data center analysis and financial consultation.

By acquiring Rackhouse, LPC has branded the new initiative as Lincoln Rackhouse.

In addition to its current offerings, Lincoln Rackhouse will offer development and construction services, real estate capital procurement and management services on behalf of data center owners, operators and enterprise corporate users.

“We see an incredible opportunity in the development cycle for our data center clients and we are excited to join one of the most successful and reputable organizations in the country,” says Martin Peck, a founding partner at Rackhouse.

By combining LPC’s national coverage and experience in commercial real estate with Rackhouse’s expertise in data centers, clients will have access to full service real estate solutions for their mission critical real estate needs.

As one of the nation’s largest property and construction management firms, LPC employs over 4,000 professionals in over 100 markets in the United States and Europe.

The company provides a range of real estate services, including development, investment sales and brokerage services for third party clients as well as for its own portfolio.
