November 21, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Dedicated hosting provider Limestone Networks (limestonenetworks.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched a holiday toy drive, with all proceeds supporting the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program.
The company says it is asking hosting companies, customers and other individuals to help out with this year’s effort, in hopes of raising several thousand dollars and collecting of toys. The proceeds will directly be used to purchase toys, which will then be donated to the Dallas area Toys for Tots program.
“Toys for Tots is a noble cause, one we feel is important to support,” says Gary Kendall, Limestone Networks CEO. “Corporate responsibility is more than a virtue to us, it’s a reality. We hope to continue to support our community though efforts like this.”
The US Marine Corps Toys for Tots program collects unwrapped toys each fall, which it then distributes as Christmas gifts to needy children around the country. Limestone Networks will match contribution of a portion of the funds raised this year, as well as update its blog with names of contributors, fundraising tallies and pictures of toys that have been donated or purchased by the company.
