Limelight Announces Key Appointments

March 20, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Content delivery network provider Limelight Networks (limelightnetworks.com) announced on Tuesday it has named David Peterschmidt and Gary Valenzuela as directors, and David Van Engelhoven as general counsel.

Peterschmidt has more than 25 years of experience in building global companies to become leaders in their industries. He is currently the president and CEO of mobile phone software developer Openwave Systems. Valenzuela is a former senior VP and CFO at Yahoo!, as well as an entrepreneur and executive actively involved in real-estate development and the San Jose Sharks NHL hockey team, of which he is part-owner.

Van Engelhoven brings nearly 25 years of experience counseling clients in a range of industries on numerous legal issues. He was most recently a senior partner at the Cavanagh Law Firm, where he served on its board, as well as serving as a senior partner at the O’Connor Cavanagh Law Firm.
