September 25, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Regina, Saskatchewan-based Web hosting firm LFC Hosting (LFCHosting.com) announced on Monday that it has launched a new service, offering merchant accounts to international customers and high-risk businesses.

According to LFC Hosting, the company has made the service available by partnering with credit card processing organization Durango Merchant Services (DurangoMerchantServices.com), which specializes in high-risk and international merchant accounts, as well as Internet based operatons.

The range of customers that stand to benefit most from the new service, says LFC Hosting, include electronics, DVD, pharmaceuticals, travel, satellite equipment, gaming, tobacco and adult Web sites.

LFC says the new service includes a set of unique features, including an approval process completed in as little as 24-48 hours; the ability to settle in US, Canadian and UK funds, as well as Euros; no volume restrictions or gateway fees; a free virtual credit card terminal; and a 99 percent approval rate.

According to LFC CEO Robert Sauchyn, the company is seeking to offer merchant accounts to businesses outside of the United States, including those that have been previously declined for a merchant account. ?We can now provide a merchant account to any business, anywhere in the world,? says Sauchyn.
