March 31, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Communications carrier Level 3 Communications (Level3.com) announced on Monday that it has signed a new agreement to provide colocation and IP transit services to European Web hosting services provider Mesh Solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, says Level 3, Mesh Solutions will increase its use of (3)Centre Colocation and (3) CrossRoads Internet access services in Amsterdam, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Paris. Mesh Solutions, which has been using Level 3′s colocation services since 2001, also purchased metropolitan dark fiber in Dusseldorf.

Mesh Solutions says it chose Level 3 because the company’s carrier-neutral data centers and IP transit service provides reliable connectivity to public Internet networks.
