(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Lead411 Technology (www.lead411.com) recently announced the results of its 500 list for 2010, which includes a handful of Web hosting companies.
The Lead411 Technology 500 rankings are based upon yearly revenue growth percentage from 2007 to 2009 for US-based private companies with more than $1 million in revenue in 2009.
Among the hosting providers that made the list are SingleHop, which ranked #45, SoftLayer at #100, HostGator at #138, HostICan at #143, mindSHIFT at #299, and The Planet at #420.
The 500 companies that made the list were given a $5,000 advertising campaign on TechCrunch, Mashable, or ReadwriteWeb, and a company profile listed on Lead411′s site that receives over 40 million media impressions a year.
The top ranking company received $25,000 worth of advertising on Lead411.com and a press Release blast specifically for their company.
The rankings are derived by calculating the highest percentage revenue growth from the year 2007 to the year 2009.
To qualify all companies must be a United States private company that earned over $1 million in revenues in the year 2009. Lead411 said it received 1,000 applicants for the ranking list.
Many Web hosting and cloud providers also have found their names included among the Inc. 5,000 fastest-growing private companies of 2010.
