April 8, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — E-business performance management services provider Keynote Systems (keynote.com) announced on Thursday that it had appointments Patrick Quirk to executive vice president of worldwide customer operations, and Vik Chaudhary to vice president of marketing and corporate development.
In his newly created position, Quirk will assume global responsibility for sales and professional services, including Keynote’s service level management and customer experience management consulting organizations. Chaudhary’s appointment, which is effective May 1, is a promotion from his existing position as Keynote’s senior director of corporate development. Both Quirk and Chaudhary will report to Keynote chairman and CEO Umang Gupta.
“The task ahead for us is to drive meaningful growth from the investments we have made, and these two executive appointments underscore our singular commitment to do so,” says Gupta.
Quirk joins Keynote from PeopleSoft where he served as the company’s general manager and group vice president of supply chain management product and technology business. Chaudhary is the former CEO and founder of e-business measurements company Bizmetric, and was also in charge of product management at database pioneer Gupta Technologies.
