Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

March 16, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Keynote Systems (keynote.com), a provider of Web performance measurement and management services, will host a free symposium on Thursday, March 18, 2004 devoted to the management of Web application performance. The one-day event, "Total Performance Management," will be held at the San Mateo Marriott in San Mateo, California.

According to Keynote, the symposium will address the challenges of managing Web applications and e-business infrastructure and will outline a "best practices" approach for dealing with meeting these challenges and diagnosing and fixing related performance problems.

Geoffrey J. Penney, executive vice president and chief information officer of Charles Schwab Corp., will discuss e-business performance management issues in the opening address.

Additional presenters include: Ernst Ambichl, CTO of Segue Software; Paul Avenant, senior director of HP; Mark Hydar, director of operations at eBay; and Kelly Rodriques, CEO of Totality.

Hewlett-Packard and Keynote are also slated to demonstrate a new solution for detecting and diagnosing behind-the-firewall performance problems.
