Key-Systems Names Executive VP

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — German domain registrar and reseller hosting provider Key-Systems announced on Wednesday it has named Bonnie Wittenburg as the new executive vice president of Key-Systems USA.

The newly founded US subsidiary of Key-Systems is based in Virginia in the Washington Metro area.

Founded in 1998, the Zweibruecken, Germany-based Key-Systems is an ICANN accredited registrar that manages more than 2.5 million domains.

In addition to domain name registration, the company provides fully automated reseller-systems and web hosting solutions.

Wittenburg has more than 10 years of experience in the domain name industry, having held managerial positions at Network Solutions, VeriSign and Iron Mountain.

In her role as executive vice president of Key-Systems USA, she will manage and lead the companies expansion in the United States.

According to the press release, Wittenburg’s appointment allows Key-Systems to “concentrate on US customers by providing more direct access and support.”
