Key-Systems Establishes Latin American Presence with Office in Mexico

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — After having successfully starting a subsidiary in the US in May, domain registrar Key-Systems (www.key-systems.net) is intensifying its international presence with a new office in Monterrey, Mexico, with the primary focus of supporting and developing relationships in the Latin American market.

Established in 1998 in Zweibrücken, Germany, Key-Systems’ two corporate entities in the Western Hemisphere complement one another in their geographical and business focus, strengthening the service of Key-Systems. The Mexican KS Internet Solutions opens up direct and prompt access to technical support for all RRPproxy key account reseller customers on the American continent.

“We’re proud to announce an international expansion of our company for the second time within one year,” Key-Systems chief executive officer Alexander Siffrin said in a statement. “The personal advice and support is of highest priority to us. The subsidiary in Mexico extends our technical support and thus renders our customer service even more substantial.”

The new office in Mexico and the US subsidiary, headed by domain registration and management expert Bonnie Wittenburg, are an excellent base for the further development of the business in the growth market in Latin America, according to Siffrin.

European resellers will also benefit from the new foundation, according to Key-Systems, because they will be able to reach the English speaking telephone support of RRPproxy between 8 am and 12 pm CET beginning next year. Aside from support, the Mexican team will develop stronger relationships with current reseller clients and establish contacts to new resellers. Furthermore, the Mexican staff will assist with the integration of new top-level domains into Key-Systems’ portfolio.

Heading Key-Systems’ Monterrey office is systems engineer Ricardo Ipiña Sifuentes, who will lead a team of English and Spanish speaking support employees, and present the extensive reseller specific services of Key-Systems to Latin American registrars.

“Key-Systems is characterized by the technology, the knowledge and the essential attitude to further grow successfully in the domain world,” Sifuentes said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to further developing the Latin American market based from the Mexican subsidiary and contributing to the future growth of Key-Systems.”

Key-Systems currently manages more than 2.5 million domains spanning more than 200 top-level domains including Latin American country-code endings such as Mexico’s .MX, Brazil’s .COM.BR, and Peru’s .PE.

Key-Systems is not alone in pursuing the expanding Latin American market. Just this week, on-demand data security and PCI compliance management solutions provider Trustwave (www.trustwave.comopened new offices in Mexico City and Bogota, Colombia to help better enable regional support of data security and compliance initiatives with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
