July 19, 2001 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Mark G. Anderson Consultants (mgac.com), a firm that specializes in strategic services in the high-tech sector, announced today that Kenneth Stipcak has joined the firm as Technology Group Director.

Stipcak will direct owner’s representative services on mission-critical and

technology-intensive projects, including site selection and analysis,
r

programming, design coordination, construction management, and facility
r

commissioning and startup.
r

Stipcak has over 15 years of experience in general contracting, fast-track
r

design and construction, design-build, and construction consulting on
r

projects totaling in excess of $300 million. Most recently, he served as
r

senior project manager for PSINet (psi.net), where he held construction management responsibilities for the firm’s Web hosting facilities in the U.S. and Latin America. Stipcak has been involved in such Washington-area projects as the Mazza Galleria renovation, Postal Square, the Swedish Embassy, and the renovation to the Brookings Institution.

Stipcak’s initial project assignments will include The Tower Oaks South
r

Gateway Complex, including a 135,000 SF stand-alone data center and trading
r

floor for PG&E’s National Energy Group; and the International Spy Museum.

Mr. Stipcak holds an architecture degree from the Pennsylvania State
r

University, specializing in construction management. He is a member of the
r

7×24 Exchange, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and the Washington
r

D.C. Technology Council.
