Jelastic announced on Monday that it has released a new mobile app to give users remote access to Jelastic’s cloud management system.
The app can be downloaded for free in the iTunes Store, and is designed to give Java and PHP developers a tool to boost their productivity.
With the mobile app, users can view and monitor environments in Jelastic, view the current status and resource consumption, change the state of any Java/PHP environment, and track a balance and viewing billing history.
The app release comes a month after Jelastic named John E. Derrick CEO.
Jelastic allows users to run any Java or PHP application without code changes, and enables developers to set up cloud environments quickly using major software stacks.
“Jelastic has seen tremendous growth over the last year and the company´s market traction continues to build across key regions worldwide,” Ruslan Synytsky, Jelastic CTO said. “With the release of our new mobile application, we are making it easy for users of Jelastic´s PaaS to gain access remotely, monitor their environments, and view account and billing information from their mobile devices – anytime, anywhere.”
