ISS in RSA Conference Keynote

February 6, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Enterprise security service provider Internet Security Systems (iss.net) announced on Monday it will deliver several presentations and demonstrations at the 15th annual RSA Conference, including a keynote address by ISS president and CEO Thomas Noonan.

The conference will be held from February 14 to 16 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. On February 16 at 9:20 a.m., Noonan will deliver his keynote speech entitled, “Defending the Self-Defending Network: Can Computing be Trustworthy in the 21st Century?”

Noonan will discuss his vision for the next generation of security and why technology alone will not suffice in the fight against continually evolving security threats. Other ISS speakers include Eric Hanselman, who will give a lecture entitled “Advancing Internal Network Security: Beyond Perimeter & Host Protection,” February 14 at 5:35 p.m.

On February 15 at 3:25 p.m., Noonan will join a panel of security sector CEOs for the Security Sector Roundtable discussion which they will discuss upcoming trends in the security sector. Meanwhile, ISS’ CTO Chris Rouland will discuss current and future trends in vulnerability research and how humans will in the future generation of security.
