(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — In his afternoon session “ISPmanager Cluster (clustering technologies)”, ISPsystem’s Ivan Kruglov took a look at how clustering is an effective method of shared hosting.

Clustering, which groups homogeneous elements to act as a single system, helps businesses improve system productivity, increased reliability, and increased availability.

He says that since shared hosting services are normally put on one physical server, it causes problems in availability and scalability.

Kruglov introduced ISPsystem’s new product, a web server control panel called ISPManager.

The tool can resolve these issues, says Kruglov, by managing an entire web server through a comprehensive web interface and perform a range of adminstrative features.

The service is currently available in Linux or FreeBSD, and comes in three versions of Lite, Pro, and Cluster.
