ISP Cogtel Picks Vexira Antivirus

September 23, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Antivirus solutions provider Central Command (centralcommand.com) announced on Wednesday that leading Cambodian Internet Service Provider Cogtel Limited (online.com.kh) has chosen Central Command’s Vexira Antivirus to defend its email infrastructure against attack.

Cogtel, says Central Command, is the largest ISP and broadband provider in Cambodia, offering a range of Internet and network products and services. Cogtel also helped introduce wireless hotspots to the country.

Central Command says Vexira Antivirus was developed to eliminate the email virus problem, and is supported around the clock by support staff familiar with large-scale email installations. The company says Vexira scans all inbound and outbound email with heuristic virus definitions and automatic definition updates, and can send warning notifications to senders, recipients or postmasters.
