ISIT Launches Virtual Network Shield Services in Middle East, Protecting Regional Businesses

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — As serious security threats continue to pose risks to networks around the world, data storage and security solutions provider ISIT (www.isit.ae) has launched its new Virtual Network Shield service in the Middle East.

According to ISIT’s Tuesday announcement, Virtual Network Shield is part of its new security offerings to all businesses whose critical data is most vulnerable to unauthorized access using power line adapters and weakly configured wireless access points.

“A number of our customers have noticed that a rising trend of data theft and sabotage has been the cause of power line network adaptors being slipped into secure office environments,” said Mahesh Vaidya, who heads the Middle East arm of ISIT. “Small and easy to put in place, these adaptors have passed through security controls exposing a company’s most critical asset at risk.”

ISIT’s security offerings provide the foundation for developing custom solutions to meet the unique business demands of organizations across various sectors. According to ISIT, its consultants are able to deliver a host of security service solutions ranging from consultancy, product technologies, implementation and support to on-site IT training.

As businesses rely increasingly on digital storage, malicious network sabotage and disruption through the injection of viruses, worms and trojans pose a greater threat to businesses.

“ISIT’s new Virtual Network Shield service will act as a gatekeeper to ensure a company’s intellectual property is not exposed to threats that can jeopardise the stake of a business,” Vaidya added. “With 18 years in the security and storage field, our team of security consultants and engineers at ISIT Middle East provides the expertise and deep-rooted understanding required to protect the network infrastructure of organisations across sectors in the Middle East.”
