Interxion Wins Broighter Contract

April 14, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Interxion (interxion.com), a European provider of carrier-neutral data centers and managed services, has announced that it and partner Aurora Telecom (auroratelecom.ie) have won a 1.1 million Euro contract from Broighter Networks (broighter.com). Aurora Telecom will provide the fiber optic foundation for Broighter Networks new Metropolitan Area Network services, while Interxion will house the core network node infrastructure and interconnects.

Broighter Networks offers high-speed broadband services to enterprise customers and service providers in the greater Dublin area. From the Dublin data center, Interxion hosts and monitors key elements of Broighter’s core network infrastructure to industry leading service levels, and enables Broighter’s customer traffic to interconnect into any of the leading Tier One carriers who colocate with Interxion.
