Kevin Dean, senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer at Interxion.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — European carrier-neutral data center operator Interxion (www.interxion.com) announced on Wednesday it has named Kevin Dean as senior vice president marketing and chief marketing officer.
The announcement follows Interxion’s previous appointment in November, when the company named Frederik Dewulf the managing director of Interxion Belgium.
He will be responsible for Interxion’s pan-European marketing and business development strategy and implementation.
According to the press release, Dean has an “exceptional depth of experience in ICT B2B marketing” having developed and marketed services in the data, voice, managed services, colocation and hosting arenas.
Before moving to Interxion, Kevin spent six years with Colt Telecom, where he served in the role of marketing drector for the major enterprise division.
Prior to this, Dean served as marketing director for C&W Global Markets and more recently, vice president of marketing planning and strategy with Cable & Wireless.
“Kevin has experience and insights which will be extremely valuable to our pan-European team and to our customers as we continue to sustain growth while adding value to our service portfolio,” says Interxion CEO David Ruberg. “The addition of Kevin to the senior management team will enable the company to leverage the increased interest in carrier-neutral colocation from a range of market sectors including carrier, ISP, service providers, finance, digital media, and enterprise.”
