(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — European network operator Interoute (www.interoute.com) announced on Thursday it has ISO 27001 certification for its data center in Stockholm, Sweden.
The internationally recognized security management standard provides assurances to enterprises that Interoute is committed to providing secure solutions for their critical data.
The Stockholm facility is Interoute’s fifth data center to attain certification to the ISO 27001 standard or national equivalents, following certifications at its Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva and Munich facilities.
Interoute ensures the security of the data held by its managed hosting solution through application and continuous monitoring of ISO 27001 security controls.
Using a combination of ISO 27001 security and ITIL service management best practices, Interoute delivers secure and quality outsourced data solutions across its network infrastructure and managed hosting solutions in the cloud.
