Intermedia Provides Partners with MSCS Resources

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Exchange hosting provider Intermedia (www.intermedia.net) announced on Thursday it is offering online resources for its private label partners to promote Microsoft Communication Services, the software developer’s marketing package of hosted Exchange email, SharePoint and Office Communications Server.

The news follows Intermedia’s announcement in June that it has become the first web host to offer the beta of Exchange 2010 as a hosted service.

Last month, Intermedia announced it is one of a handful of companies that has been selected to promote MSCS.

Entitled Microsoft Communication Services from Intermedia, the marketing alliance is designed to appeal directly to small and medium-sized business owners.

The Microsoft Communication Services marketing resources will help Intermedia’s partners to more effectively market Microsoft Exchange email, SharePoint and Office Communications Server.

Intermedia partners are able to promote Microsoft Communication Services and other hosted Microsoft offerings under their own brand, managing the underlying services with a private label version of Intermedia’s flagship control panel.

The resource helps Intermedia partners find appropriate prospects and then engage them with compelling messages, says Intermedia.

“MSCS is a way to engage business owners using language that aligns with this view,” says Bob Leibholz, Intermedia’s vice president of sales and business development. “It’s a marketing package in the best sense of the term, and we’re proud to make it available to our partners. We expect to accelerate our growth as a result of this marketing effort and help our partners do so as well.”

The resources are now available for download on Intermedia’s partner portal, as are resources for marketing Intermedia’s Exchange hosting including email, letter, phone script, and website templates to which Intermedia partners can personally brand.
