August 20, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Intercosmos Media Group, Inc. (intercosmos.com) launched this week SiteRacer.com (siteracer.com), an online resource that features downloadable Web site templates used to build professional Web sites.
Users can modify templates with any standard Web site editing software or with Pagebuilder, SiteRacer’s downloadable Web page editing tool. PageBuilder allows users to make changes to headers, tables, and text; edit cascading style sheets and HTML; add javascript to headers and customize meta tags.
The templates are sorted by category and priced from $9.99 to $24.99.
The option exists with each template to buy the “unique” rights to it. This means that after a template is downloaded, the template is retired from the collection and can no longer be used.
