InstaCarma Launches Superhero-Themed Site

Hosting Superhero's powers include customer support, marketing and SEO. He'd best leave crime fighting to Spider-Man.

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Displaying its core services to visitors – in a unique way – web hosting technical support provider InstaCarma (www.instacarma.com) has created a new superhero mascot and relaunched its website, featuring videos and more social network integration.

According to InstaCarma, its new mascot is the “Hosting Superhero” who greets visitors on the front page, along with a few features that make him and the other InstaCarma team members superheroes such as the company’s video conferencing and collaboration suite, BaseCamp, as well as new modes of support including the use of social media such as Twitter and forums.

“We’re firm believers in the power of social media,” InstaCarma wrote in a blog entry. “For companies, it not only helps their marketing and SEO initiatives, but also increases customer satisfaction and loyalty greatly. It also allows companies to give prospective customers a glimpse of the kind of care they can expect. Hosting Companies would be greatly benefited by adding social media channels to the support options they offer to their customers.”

In operation since 2003, InstaCarma hopes the new website will generate interest in its services as it prepares to exhibit for the first time at HostingCon, which begins in two weeks.

The superhero, popular among tech geeks, has factored into a number of marketing campaigns over the years including a C I Host (www.cihost.com) campaign in which their superhero-in-training, Wi-Fi Guy, actually toured the Eastern seaboard to explore and review all things Wi-Fi.
