September 18, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — FFmpeg streaming media hosting provider Infrenion Networks (infrenion.com) has doubled the bandwidth of its shared, reseller and virtual private server plans for new customers.

According to the company’s announcement this week, Infrenion decided to offer this promotion due to the increased market demand for online bandwidth. As the line between television and the Web for content delivery becomes more blurred, events like the Olympics attract many thousands of online viewers, ammounting to enormous bandwidth requirements.

Infrenion is also offering client management, billing and support solution WHMCS at no extra charge when clients sign up for a reseller or a VPS plan. The Infrenion support team will provide full support for the product’s installation and configuration.

Founded in 2002, Infrenion began serving clients in Singapore and elsewhere in Asia. It has since expanded worldwide with servers located in the UK and US to serve companies in the North American and European markets.

In May, Infrenion introduced its first affiliate marketing program.
