October 5, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT service company and Web hosting provider Inforonics (inforonics.com) announced on Wednesday that it has signed a two year contract with WANT AD publications (thewantad.com) to provide managed hosting, application maintenance and Web development. WANT AD is New England’s largest online marketplace for used items for the home and business.
Visitors to the website can view ads for approximately 30,000 items every week from WANT AD Publications’ two print publications, The WANT ADvertiser – Original and The WANT ADvertiser – Powered.
Under the agreement, Inforonics will provide managed hosting for WANT ADvertiser’s website and will include a custom built monitoring solution, conditioned bandwidth, back-up and restore services, management of a shared firewall and distributed denial of service attack protection.
