April 5, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting service provider Inflow (inflow.com) announced on Monday that Tony Medrano, general manager of its San Diego data center facility, has been named one of the 15 finalists for Hispanic Business Magazine’s 2003 “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. The Colorado-based company also unveiled its new venture alliance program (VAP) on Monday, to be headed by Medrano. The VAP program, Inflow said, is designed for venture capitalists and CEOs, allowing them to provide colocation, business continuity and managed services to their portfolio companies.
“We designed our VAP to enable top-tier venture capital firms to provide their portfolio companies added value by saving their portfolio company executives time and money,” said Art Zeile, chief executive officer of Inflow. “We are excited to launch this program under general manager Tony Medrano’s leadership. He has the experience necessary to give venture capitalists and CEOs the confidence that he understands their needs.”
Medrano was named the general manager of Inflow’s San Diego data center facility earlier this year. Inflow operates 13 data centers across the United States.
