Cloud hosting provider Infinitely Virtual announced on Wednesday it has formally launched two programs for the reseller community.
The move comes a month after Infinitely Virtual began the phased move of its backup data center from San Diego to Boston.
Though both plans are aimed at resellers catering to small and midsize businesses, they differ in how the company’s portfolio of virtualization products and services can be marketed and sold.
The company attributes its growth over the years to a “combination of direct, e-commerce sales and value added resellers.”
The Infinitely Virtual Reseller Program is designed for partners who prefer to offer Infinitely Virtual products and services under the IV brand.
Under this program, Infinitely Virtual provides all post-sales technical and billing support, giving partners the freedom to move on to their next deal.
The plan is based on a tiered commission schedule, with increases tied to customer revenue growth and stepped up accordingly.
The Infinitely Virtual VAR Partner Program is intended for those resellers who want to private-label any or all of Infinitely Virtual’s products and services.
As an IVVAR Partner, resellers are provided with discounted plans and enhanced access to the Infinitely Virtual infrastructure.
Infinitely Virtual provides pre-sales and sales support, while partners bill their customers and provide all post-sales technical support.
“Both of our new programs enable resellers to market the hottest virtualization platform and create an instant, recurring revenue stream,” said Adam Stern, CEO at Infinitely Virtual. “Organizations participating in our VAR program can effectively serve as their own hosting company and take some ownership of the solution. They can exceed our retail price by adding value through offerings like managed services.
