Infinitely Virtual Adds Global Crossing As Upstream ISP

Global Crossing provides simple solutions to meet Infinitely Virtual client’s complex telecommunications needs, making this partnership ideal, according to its Thursday announcement. Global Crossing’s integrated, IP-based world-class network was designed for the convergence of voice, video and data, and delivers services virtually anywhere on the planet quickly, securely and reliably.

“We are committed to giving our customers the highest quality Virtual Dedicated Server solution,” Infinitely Virtual and Altay Corporation President and chief executive officer Adam Stern said in a statement. “By adding a Tier 1 network, Global Crossing, to our blend of upstream providers, we are essentially giving every customer an upgrade. And perspective customers will know that they can have the best connectivity in the virtual server space.”

Global Crossing’s global network provides services to 40 percent of Fortune 500 companies, as well as 700 carriers, mobile operators and Internet service providers worldwide. Supporting its plans to add capacity to its global network, Global Crossing expanded its Buenos Aires, Argentina data center two months ago with the installation of a new electrical subsystem that increases the facility’s power by 120 percent. Last month, it opened an Amsterdam data center to deliver virtual hosting solutions and hosted managed services.
