Indian Web hosting provider ZNet Technologies (www.znetindia.com) announced on Tuesday it has partnered with hosting management software developer CloudLinux (www.cloudlinux.com) to provide “high performance” hosting services.
The partnership comes a couple of months after Web hosting provider InterServer announced it added CloudLinux to its dedicated server offering.
ZNet says that CloudLinux is the “only commercially supported operating system optimized for hosting service providers to manage a significant level of shared hosting accounts and for data centers who sell servers to enterprise and small business customers.”
CloudLinux is binary compatible with the most popular RPM-based Linux distribution and is optimized to work with hosting control panels to deliver faster and fully tested updates.
CloudLinux differentiates from other Linux distributions by creating Lightweight Virtual Environments, which works transparently to manage resources that the Web host sets for the accounts on a server.
As a result of the CloudLinux partnership, ZNet Hosting customers will receive better reliability and performance with a server that is running at peak operating capacity, better control over CPU resources, increased uptime, increased density, and compatibility with all major control panels for easy management.
“We are very pleased to expand our relationship with CloudLinux,” says Munesh Jadoun, founder and CEO of ZNet Technologies. “CloudLinux will help in delivering better hosting services to our growing clientele. ZNet is committed to providing high quality hosting to our customers and adding CloudLinux to our offerings will undoubtedly serves as a way ahead in this direction.”
ZNet provides a range of services, including domain registration, web hosting, reseller hosting, dedicated hosting, VPS, business email, SSL certificates and online business applications.
