Imperva Hires VP Worldwide Services

May 12, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Application data security provider Imperva (imperva.com) announced on Monday it has named Sunil Nagdev the company’s vice president of worldwide services.

Last month, Imperva raised $20 million in a Series D round of venture capital financing to grow its domestic and international operations in order to extend “its market share leadership and support its rapidly expanding customer base.” This appointment of a VP of worldwide services seems to be a natural step in Imperva’s planned international growth.

Imperva says Nagdev brings 17 years of international professional services and support expertise to the company and will head up its worldwide professional services, technical support and training and education organizations.

“Sunil Nagdev is a proven leader with a strong track record for building and managing world class service and support organizations,” says Shlomo Kramer, president and CEO of Imperva. “As our global customer base and partnerships continue to expand, Sunil’s executive leadership will ensure that Imperva’s reputation for exceptional professional and technical support services keeps pace with our growth.”

Nagdev joins Imperva from Tablus, now part of EMC, where he was VP of worldwide professional services and technical support. Prior to Tablus, Nagdev was senior VP of worldwide professional services and technical support at Verity, a provider of data management solutions, where he managed consulting and support services for more than 3,000 customers.
