(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Cloud hosting services provider iland Internet Solutions (www.iland.com), and virtualization, data protection and management solutions firm Vizioncore (www.vizioncore.com) have partnered to leverage each company’s products and services to provide a complete range of virtualization solutions from small and medium-sized businesses to large enterprises.
According to iland’s Monday announcement, Vizioncore will have access to iland’s Hosted VMware (www.vmware.com) platform, offering new technology adopters affordable, high-availability services.
In turn, Vizioncore’s virtualization solution, vReplicator, will be deployed in iland’s virtual data centers, providing best-in-class replication solutions for iland, its customers and external clients. Vizioncore’s vReplicator, developed specifically for the VMware platform, lets iland’s customers easily replicate virtual servers and applications to iland’s hosted environment automatically, and system fail-over and recovery is automated and fast.
“With Vizioncore’s vReplicator product, iland’s customers can now access the latest technologies available to view necessary applications,” iland president Brian Ussher said in a statement. “We also enable companies to cost-effectively implement these solutions on-site or within their own facilities. With this partnership, we can manage the Vizioncore licenses and provide consulting services for implementing more reliable virtualization solutions.”
Iland’s “Virtual Data Centers,” located in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Boston and the Washington DC area, provide enterprise hosted VMware cloud services, letting businesses host multiple operating systems and applications locally and in remote locations, allowing for maximum performance, high availability, data protection and improved disaster recovery processes, while reducing space, power and equipment costs.
